The firm is managed by E. Elliot Adler, attorney and counsellor at law. Mr. Adler began his legal career at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. At Skadden, he was a part of the departments of real estate and mergers & acquisitions. There, he was credited with organizing critical agreements for the sale of the FOA Schwartz/GM building. At the time, this set the North American real estate sales record for the price of an office building at $1.4 billion. Mr. Adler also received awards from the firm for pro bono work with the elderly.
While only a law student, Mr. Adler took on the famed case of Neil Miller, a man wrongfully convicted and sentenced to 22 years. Mr. Adler convinced the authorities to allow him to represent Miller, despite only being a first year law student. Mr. Adler then secured the evidence left at the crime scene and arranged for DNA testing. Such testing unequivocally exonerated Neil Miller. He was then released from prison after 10 years of wrongful conviction, representing only the second inmate in Massachusetts’s history to be cleared on the basis of DNA evidence. A civil suit was later settled for $3.2M. Download PDF Here.
